The original company (Landon Brothers) was formed in 1898 and specialised in producing stampings for the birmingham brass trade. By the early 1900's the range offered was enormous and thousands of tools and dies had been produced to manufacture these highly decorative products.

All of our products are produced using the original methods. These production methods include stamping, spinning and pressing. By far the largest proportion of orders are stamped by hand on the old drop stamps. It is only by using this tried and tested method of production today, that our products retain the fine details and 1st class quality that is the hallmark of our products.

A modern power press cannot produce the finish we achieve. This stamping art is largely a forgotten trade today, and britannia brassworks manufacturing is one of the few companies left that still continue to use this method which requires the skill and craftsmenship of yesterday to produce the quality of which we are justly proud of.

In our showroom in Birmingham are many thousands of patterns and components, Many of these designs date back to the turn of the century and can be made to order within a short space of time.
